On November 16, the Regional Clinical Cardiology Dispensary was visited by an anesthesiologist, resuscitator, perfusiologist of the Moscow Regional Scientific Research Clinical Institute named after M.F.Vladimirsky Tatyana Aleksandrovna Mikheeva. She held a consultation for Saratov colleagues on the use of a modern cardioplegic solution of domestic production "Normacor".
As is known, during cardiac surgery in conditions of artificial blood circulation (IC), one of the most important aspects is high-quality protection of the myocardium. A significant role in this issue is assigned to cardioplegic solutions, drugs for stopping and protecting the heart during the main stage of surgery. Today, Tatiana Alexandrovna demonstrated the successful use of Normacor in the course of performing 2 coronary artery bypass grafting operations in IC conditions.
"According to the research results, Normacor is superior to alternative solutions for blood cardioplegia in a number of parameters. Specialists of the M.F.Vladimirsky Clinical Institute have been using it to perform blood normothermal cardioplegia since 2017, about 500 perfusions have been successfully performed in 5 years, and Normacor has proven itself well," said Tatiana Alexandrovna.
According to Vladimir Alexandrovich Dudakov, chief physician of the OKCD Medical Center, the introduction of a domestic cardioplegic solution into cardiac surgery, which is not inferior in its parameters to foreign analogues, will make it possible to cope with import substitution in the face of economic sanctions and continue to provide the necessary amount of cardiac surgery to residents of the Saratov region.
